Bob Saget, an American stand-up comedian, actor, and TV personality was discovered dead in his Orlando hotel room. TMZ initially reported the news.
Between 1989 and 1997, Saget hosted America’s Funniest Home Videos, well known for his role as Danny Tanner on the ABC series Full House. Police discovered him in his hotel room at 4 p.m. ET, according to TMZ, and he was pronounced dead shortly after.
The Orange County Sheriff’s Office confirmed the story on Twitter. According to the tweet, there is no official cause of death at this time, but police found “no signs of foul play or drug usage,” according to the tweet.
Saget was on a stand-up tour called the I Don’t Do Negative tour at the time. He just tweeted yesterday, congratulating himself on a show in Jacksonville.
