More than 200 reports of the front wheels snapping off or breaking while the strollers were in use prompted the recall of certain Valco Baby Snap Duo Trend strollers. The US Consumer Product Safety Commission warned on its recalls website on Wednesday that this is a fall danger for children being pushed in strollers and that adults should cease using them immediately.

According to the CPSC, consumers should contact Valco Baby for a free replacement front wheel assembly and instructions on how to install it, who added that Valco Baby is contacting all known customers directly.

The strollers were sold for $700 in charcoal, gray, black, and denim hues between February and October 2020 through Amazon, baby retailers throughout the US, www.albeebaby.com, and www.pishposhbaby.com, with around 1,290 being recalled.

According to Valco Baby, there have been 207 front wheels splitting or fracturing instances, but no injuries have been recorded.
