OpenAI CEO Sam Altman says Australia could become one of the world’s strongest locations for AI data centres, pointing to the country’s clean energy resources and stable operating environment.
Speaking by video at a Commonwealth Bank AI event in Sydney, Altman said Australia would rank among the “top few” places globally for what could be built if it chose to pursue large-scale AI infrastructure.
