Mario and his pals took to the fairway with Mario Golf: Super Rush last year. Mario, Luigi, and the rest of the crew will return to the soccer field in 2022 for the first time since 2007. Mario Strikers Battle League will be released for Nintendo Switch on June 10th, as announced in Wednesday’s Nintendo Direct. The first trailer is shown below.
What’s Mario Kart without a few red shells? The Nintendo Direct teaser depicts a 5-on-5 soccer game focusing on inter-field warfare. Up to eight people may battle on a single device, and the clip hinted at a robust online mode. Preorders are now being accepted.
Nintendo has released the third Mario Strikers game, Battle League. Super Mario Strikers for the GameCube was released in 2005, followed by Mario Strikers Charged for the Wii two years later. After Mario Tennis Aces and Mario Golf: Super Rush, this will be Mario’s third sports game for the Switch.
