Although it’s a technicality, Wii Sports is one of the most popular video games of all time. It was a popular tech demo included with the Wii, and over 80 million people played it. On April 29, it will be released on the Nintendo Switch.
On Wednesday, Wii Sports for Switch was unveiled during the Nintendo Direct event. It will include four additional sports, including soccer, badminton, volleyball, and chambara, in addition to the two classic sports of tennis and bowling (fencing). Additionally, it will have a leg strap that will be utilized for soccer. This is the second time the leg strap idea has been tested, following Ring Fit.
The game will expand in the fall, with Nintendo announcing that it would include golf as part of the bundle. In addition, on February 18-20, Nintendo Online subscribers will be able to participate in an online beta test for the game.
